Albert H. Loven, 86, of 606 Fifth Abe, Died October 17 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Loven, who had farmed most of his life in the Glenwood area are being held today (Thursday, Oct. 19) at 10:30 a.m. at the Glenwood Lutheran Church. Burial wil be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pastor Olaf O. Brandt will officiate.

Pallbearers are James Allison, Jerome Allison, William Loven, Vernon Loven, Roger Loven, and John Allison. Music will be furnished by Miss Carrie Kvamme, organist, and Harlan Thompson, soloist. Arrangements are being made by Steine Funeral Home.

The son of John and Mary (Lystra) Loven, Mr. Loven was born June 15, 1887 in Glenwood Township where he recieved his education. He moved to Decorah five years ago.

He was married March 4, 1916 in the Glenwood parsonage to the former Anna Fortun, and she survives, as well as three daughters and three sons: Mrs. Leonard (Margaret) Feuerhelm and Mrs. James (Irene) Allison, both of Waukon, Vernon Loven, Salem, Ore., Roger Loven, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Lester (Evelyn) Ode and William Loven both of Decorah.

Other survivors are 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Loven of Decorah and Roy Loven of Waukon and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Rosendahl of Decorah and Mrs. Anga Saak of Salem, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marion; a sister and three brothers.

Mr. Loven was a member of the Glenwood Lutheran Church.
