Funeral services for Roy Hayward Evenrude, 61, who died Friday at his home at 504 Oak Street, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Rev. Alvon Nelson in charge.

Pallbearers were Hayward, Loren, Donald, and Harold Evenrude, Oliver Ruen, and John Faldet; Mrs. Fred Giere was organist and Mrs. Rugh Rowland soloist. Lois Iverson was floral attandant.

Mr. Evenrude was born Sept. 7, 1897, in Glenwood Township, the son of Anton and Metta Evenrude. He married his wife, Sarah, on Sept. 7, 1947, in Decorah. She survives.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include Arthur and Alex Eenrude, brothers, from Glenwood Township and Decorah respectively.. One sister, two brothers and his parents preceded him in death.

Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery, with the Winneshiek Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
