Miss Cornelia Henriette Evenrud passed away Saturday, Jan. 11,at her home on Oak street, after a years illness.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Anton and Mathie Evenrud of Glenwood township, where she was born May 17, 1890, and where she lived until 16 years ago, when she moved to Decorah with her brothers, Arthur, Alex, and Roy, where her home had since been.

She is survived by her brothers, two nieces and one nephew. Two brothers Carl and Reginand passed away a few years ago.

The deceased was highly esteemed in a large circle of friends, all of whom are grieved to hear of her passing, and much sympathy is extended to the bereaved brothers and other realatives in their loss.

The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the First Lutheran church in Decorah. Rev. T.A. Hoff officiated. Internment was in the glenwood Lutheran Cemetery.
