Albert Allen, 77, died Saturday at the Caledonia Hospital following a short illness. His home had been in Caledonia for many years.

His wife, the former Agnes Gagen died in March 1951 after almost 60 years of marriage. Allen was born near Mabel, Minn.

He is survived by three daughters, Sister M. Lorraine, Little Falls, Minn., Mrs. J.H. (Theresa) Schieffer, Rice Lake, Wis., and Mrs. Milton (Audrey) Hanson, La Crosse; two sons, Hilliary of Caledonia and Stanley, La Crosse: four sisters, Mrs David Welch, Mabel, Minn., Mrs Amy Reed, Austin, Minn. Mrs. Fred Johnson, Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Anna Taber, San Bernardino, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas, Hesper, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Blaschke's Funeral Chapel, the Rev. A.E. Kuisle officiating, and burial was in Calvary cemetery.
