Mrs. Edwin Erickson: March 1966

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hesper Lutheran church for Mrs. Edwin Erickson, 73, who died suddenly at her home in Hesper Thursday morning. The Rev. Allen Hermeier officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The former Ida Klegseth, she was born Oct. 26, 1892, in Fillmore County, Minnesota, the daughter of Esten and Beret (Aasum) Klegseth. She spent all her life in this area.

On Nov. 19, 1934, she married Edwin Erickson.

Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth McConnell, Decorah, Ia,; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Olga Folstad, Mrs. Melissa Korsness, both of Hesper and Mrs. Myron Welch of Mabel.

A brother, Albert, preceded her in death.
