Death of Chas. Hackett

The death of Charley A. Hackett, a Highland township farmer, came suddenly early Wednesday morning. He had been enjoying good health up until the evening of his death.

The deceased was born in Sleepy Eye, Minn., on 25 September, 1870. Mr. Hackett was united in marriage to Mrs. Flora Nelson, December 6, 1922. He is survived by his wife, one brother of Aberdeen, S.D. and a sister of Florence S.D., also by seven foster children -- Guy Nelson and Mrs. Hazel Flaten of Mabel, Minn., Mrs. Nora Sanden of Hesper, Mrs Nina Folkedahl, Mrs. Ruby Topness, Norval and Nels Nelson of Highland.

Funeral services were held on Saturday from the family home in Highland and at the Friends church at Hesper.

Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.

Note: Flora's maiden name was Darrington.
