Mrs. Robinson, Long-Time Hesper Resident, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Sidney Robinson, 81, resident of Hesper for 50 years, were held Monday August 2 at Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel, Minn. with burial in the Hesper Cemetery. Pastor Guilford Street of Hesper Friends Church conducted final rites.

Mrs. Robinson, the former Sidney Barnhart, was born July 3, 1890 at West Liberty, Ia., the daughter of Clarence and Mary Baker Barnhart. She was married to R. Percy Robinson, in Hesper, October 1, 1920. He died in 1956.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Darroll (Marian) Homrighouse, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Marland (Betty) Schmidt, Bloomer, Wis., and Mrs. Warren (Jean) Foltz and Mrs. Kenneth (Joyce) Austin, both of Hesper. Other survivors are 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Robinson, 81, resident of Hesper died at the Tweeten Memorial hospital in Spring Grove.

The former Sidney Barnhart, she was born July 3, 1890, at West Liberty, Ia., the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Baker) Barnhart. On Oct. 1, 1920, she married R. Percy Robinson of Hesper.

Burial was in the Hesper public cemetery.
