On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. E. L. Wennes was stricken with paralysis and died soon after. Interment was deferred, until Monday afternoon so a granddaughter from the east could come and attend. Rev. Rasmussen conducted the services from the home. A large company attended to pay their last respect to one who so long had been one of their company. The remains were laid to rest in the Cemetery at Hesper.
