Mrs. E.R. Antrim, 91, of Mabel, the widow of the founder of the Mabel Record, died Sunday morning at Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel.
The former Gladys Manning was born September 15, 1893, in Lewiston, and graduated from Mabel High School in 1913. On April 2, 1915, she married Ernest Antrim in Harmony. They lived in Mabel all their married lives and she assisted him with publishing the Mabel Record. Mr. Antrim died December 27, 1965. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women's Society and was a past member of the Mabel WCTU and Royal Neighbors Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Kathryn) Erickson of West Allis, Wisconsin; a son, Ray of St. Paul, three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. John (Mabel) Rysgaard of Vancouver, Washington.
The funeral was held Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Mabel, with Rev. Neil Westby officiating. Burial was in Hesper Public Cemetery.
Mengis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
