The Obituary for Mrs. Ole M. Selness, 1 July 1941: Mrs. Ole M. Selness passed away July 1st at the home of her brother, Ed. Brenna, south of Mabel, after an illness of only three days. She was 76 years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Selness formerly lived here, but moved to Glenwood, Minn., in 1919. She had been visiting here a short time previous to her sudden illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Fingerson Funeral home, with Rev. I. Havneros officiating.
The remains were then taken to Glenwood for burial.
