Here is the Obituary for Arnold Selness, 26 Sept. 1956: Funeral services were conducted at Barsness Lutheran church near Glenwood, Minn., Saturday, Sept. 29, for Arnold Selness, 55, who died suddenly Sept. 26. The Rev. Oliver N. Pederson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Selness was born near Decorah, IA., June 21, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole M. Selness. In 1918 he moved to Glenwood. On Sept. 4, 1926, he married Lucille Dalager. Survivors are his wife, three sons; three daughters; his father; four brothers and one sister. Mr. Selness was a nephew of Ed Brenna of Mabel.
