The Obituary for Julius Brenna: Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hesper Lutheran church for Julius Brenna, 94, who died Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Green Lea Manor where he had been a resident 12 years. The Rev. Bernhardt Polesky officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was born May 4, 1884, in Leksvik, Norway, the son of Elias and Lorence (Tommerdahl) Brenna. He married Julia Tommerdahl May 10, 1919. They farmed in the Mabel and Hesper area until retiring and moving to Hesper. He was a member of the Hesper Lutheran church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Lilian) Dewing, Livingston, Mont., Mrs. Melvin (Lelah) Folstad, Mabel; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. His wife, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. The Mengis funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
