The Obituary for Mrs. Julius Brenna: September 1975, Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hesper Lutheran Church for Mrs. Julius Brenna, 78, who died Friday evening at Tweeten Memorial Hospital in Spring Grove where she had been a patient three weeks. The Rev. Bernhardt Polesky officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The former Julia Tommerdahl, she was born Sept. 26, 1896, in Leksvik, Norway. She came to the United States in 1915. On May 10, 1919, she married Julius Brenna. They farmed in the Hesper and Mabel area. She was a member of the Hesper Lutheran Church and its ALCW. She had been a resident at Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Lillian) Dewing, of Livingston, MT, Mrs. Melvin (Lelah) Folstad, of Mabel; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers in Norway.
