Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 P.M. Monday at Hesper Lutheran church for Lawrence Korsness, 73, who died at his home hear Hesper Thursday after an extended illness.

The Rev. David Lee officiated. Burial was in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.

He was born July 7, 1886, in Frosta, Norway, the son of Ole and Caroline Lorentson. He was baptized and confirmed in Norway. At the age of 16, he came to the United States, and had lived in this community since.

On March 2, 1910, he married Ida Anderson. To this union two children were born, Oscar of Livingston, Mont, and Tilla, deceased.

Mrs. Korsness died Feb. 2, 1920. On Sept. 4, 1929, he married Melissa Klegseth. They became the parents of 3 children, Mrs. Curtis (Helen)Danielson, Moorhead, Minn, Lester and Norman at home.

Survivors are his wife; three sons; a daughter; 8 grandchildren; a brother; Soren Korsness, Canby, Ore., a sister, Mrs. Anna Reitan, Vancouver, B.C.; three half brothers Charles Lorentson, Kalispell, Mont., Odd and Arne Lorentson, in Norway; three half sisters, Mrs. Sverre Faskum, Mrs. Ragnvold Dyrseth and Miss Ernma Lorentson, all of Norway.

Two brother preceded him in death.
