Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hesper Lutheran church for Mrs. Roger Darrington, 60, who died at Phoenix, Ariz., on Friday, Nov. 30. The Rev. Bernhardt Polesky and Rev. Davis Darrington officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The former Anne Sophia Baukol, she was born March 17, 1919, at Starbuck, Minn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olaus Baukol. She was a graduate of the Starbuck high school and Luther College, Decorah, Ia. Prior to her marriage she worked for the F.B.I. in Washington, D.C.

She married Roger Darrington of Mabel on Nov. 16, 1945. Prior to moving to Arizona, she had resided at Mabel.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Craig and Corwyn, both of Phoenix; one daughter, Cathy Darrington, Burlingame, Calif.; four grandchildren; one brother Magnus Baukol, in California and a sister Mrs. Harold Kjorstad, Starbuck, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Mengis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
