Cora Darrington's Obituary: Preston Times 2 Nov. 1926

Mrs Roy Darrington, 35, died at a Chicago hospital after more than a year's illness, on Nov. 19, 1926.

The remains of Mrs. Roy Darrington were brought here on Tuesday from Chicago and funeral services were held from the Highlandville Lutheran church on Wednesday. Mrs. Darrington was a Grindand and formerly lived in Highlandville neighborhood. When she married Roy Darrington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Darrington, they made their home on the Darrington farm for number of years and later moved to Decorah. She was taken to Chicago for medical treatment and died in a hospital there. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Darrington and daughter Cecil of Minneapolis were in attendance at the funeral.
