Here is the obituary for Norma Dahl, Mrs. Sverre Dahl, 29 April, 1974
Mabel, Minn. (Special) ---Mrs. Sverre (Norma) Dahl, 49, Mabel, died today at Lutheran Hospital, la Crosse, Wis., after an extended illness.

The former Norma Bjertness, she was born in Black Hammer Township, Houston County, April 9, 1925, the daughter of Andrew and Maren (Grimley) Bjertess. On July 3, 1949, she married Sverre Dahl at Mabel. She was a member of Hesper, Iowa, Lutheran Church and its women's organization and the Mabel American Legion auxiliary.

Survivors are: her husband; two sons, Sverre Jr., and Charles, Mabel; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Bonnie) Hammon, Lime Springs, Iowa. Her mother, Mrs. Lester Koppen, Mabel; one brother, Edwin Bjertness, Hesper, Iowa, and on sister, Mrs. Henry (Edna) Wiste, Spring Grove.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Hesper Lutheran Church, the Rev. Bernhardt Polesky officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
