John Bouska
John Bouska, 35, of La Crosse, Wis., and formerly of rural Fort Atkinson, died June 13, 2001 at his home in La Crosse.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial services were held Saturday, June 30 at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin with Rev. Donald Hawes officiating.
Organist Marlene Pecinovsky, soloist Colleen Busta and pianists Cassi and Brittany Lensing provided music.
Honorary casket bearers were all of John Bouska's friends.
Interment was in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Protivin. Balik Funeral Home of Spillville handled arrangements.
John Clarence Bouska was born March 1, 1966 to Francis and Pauline (Frana) Bouska at Winneshiek County Hospital in Decorah. He attended Holy Trinity School in Protivin and graduated from South Winneshiek High School.
John Bouska farmed with his father and brothers until about a year ago when he moved to La Crosse.
Survivors include his father, Francis Bouska of Cresco; five brothers: Francis Bouska of Freeport, Quentin Bouska of Minneapolis, Minn., George and Kathleen Bouska of New Hampton, Joseph and LaVonne Bouska of Fort Atkinson and Jerry Bouska of Fort Atkinson and four sisters: Kathleen and Charles Meyer of Waterloo; Anita and Richard Hemesath of Ossian; Pauline and Kenneth Haskovec of Cresco and LaDeane and Marvin Lensing of Cresco.
John Clarence Bouska was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Bouska, June 4, 2001 and Dale and his wife Deborah Bouska in 1984.
