Eileen Vivian Tyler
Eileen Vivian Tyler, 84, of Memphis, Tenn., and formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, of cancer at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 28, at 11:30 a.m., at the Temple of Memories, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Eileen (Lee) Tyler born April 22, 1916, in Frankville Township of Winneshiek County, the daughter of Knudt and Hilda J. (Vick) Lee.
She married Spencer Tyler June 27, 1940, in Decorah.
Eileen was named Blackhawk County MS Mother of the Vear in 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Shriener of San Ramon, Calif.; one son, Steve Tyler of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandsons;, and one greatgrandchild.
Eileen Tyler was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Spencer, who died March 30, 1989; and one brother, Norman Lee.
