Wayne Hanneman

Wayne Hanneman, 59, of Longmont, Colo., died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001 at St. Anthony Central as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Memorial services were held Thursday, Jan. 25 at Howe Mortuary in
Longmont.

Cremains have been brought back to Decorah for a memorial service and inurnment to be held at Canoe Ridge Lutheran Church in rural Decorah at 2
p.m. Saturday, Feb.17.

Wayne Douglas Hanneman was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Decorah, the son of Harold and Beatrice (Gutlormson) Hanneman.

He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic at Castle Rock Construction, and enjoyed riding his Harley and being in the company of friends.

Never leaving his farming roots completely, he enjoyed gardening whenever possible, and also loved reading.

Surviving Wayne Hanneman are his parents, Harold and Beatrice Hanneman of Decorah; two sons, Douglas Hanneman of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Phillip Hanneman of Syracuse, N.Y.; two daughters, Darcy Beatrice Bahno of San Diego, Calif. and Breanna Hanneman of Utah; three brothers, Leslie Hanneman of Edmond, Okla., Don Hanneman of Castle Rock, Colo., and Larry Hanneman of Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Janet Stadky of Grafton, Wisc. and five grandchildren.

Wayne Douglas Hanneman was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Herbert Hanneman, and a daughter, Desiree.
