Clarence Bronner

Clarence Bronner, 77, of Cresco, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at his farm home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at 11 a.m., at the Zion United Methodist Church in Cresco, with the Rev. Robert Holdorf officiating.

Patsy Bronner was the organist.

Casket bearers were Dan Schwasinger, Dale Fagner Jr., Jim White, Jay Anderson, Steve Novak and Robert Vobr.

Honorary bearers were Calvin, Roger, and Brent Bronner and Ron Magnus.

Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cresco. The Lindstrom Funeral Home of Cresco handled arrangements.

Clarence was born Sept. 7, 1922, at the farm home of his parents, Albert and Addie (Scheurer) Bronner. He attended country school and went on to attend farm night classes.

He was a lifelong farmer and owned the Bronner Tractor business for 15 years.

On April 27, 1946, he was married to Grace Larsen in Cresco. They later divorced.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Bronner of Wonder Lake, IL., Pam Bronner of DECORAH and Cynthia Bronner of Cedar Rapids; one son, Mark Bronner of Cresco; two grandchildren, Derek Bronner and Derrick Schaitel; two brothers, Kenneth Bronner of Kalispell, Mont., and Robert B. Bronner of Lime Springs; and special friend Dan Schwasinger of West Allis, Wis.

Clarence Bronner was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eldred.
