Jane Bouschlicher
Jane Bouschlicher, 60, of Iowa City, died Saturday, April 10, 1999 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will, be held Wednesday, April 14, at 1:30 p.m., at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City, with the Rev. Jason Parkin officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the church.
Her body has been cremated. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service of Iowa City is in charge of arrangements.
Jane (Seitz) Bouschlicher was born April 15, 1938, in Des Moines, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Jordan) Seitz.
For many years, she worked for the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Des Moines and Iowa City in the department of internal medicine.
She married Murray R. Bouschlicher Feb. 4, 1978, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City. She worked with her husband in their dental practice in DECORAH.
After moving to Iowa City, she worked at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and also for a number of local dentists as a dental hygienist.
She was to receive her bachelors of science degree in oral health science from the College of Dentistry June 4.
Her family includes, husband Murray; one daughter, Anne Butler of West Branch; one son, Paul and Jennifer Butler of DECORAH; three step-children, Nevin Bouschlicher of Chicago, Paul Bouschlicher of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Bouschlicher of Ashland, Ore.; two brothers, Jordan and Judy Seitz of Topeka, Kan., and John and Sue Seitz of Des Moines; and one sister, Ann and Bill Adams of Knoxville.
