Donald R. Paul

Donald R. Paul, 55, of Decorah, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999.

The body was cremated. A memorial service was held Saturday, March 27, at 1 p.m., at the Fjelstul Funeral Home.

Speakers were Dennis Paul, Charlie Langton, Jeff Skeate and Eric Paulson. Rob Hervey played two guitar pieces, a Renaissance folk song and "Bourree" by J.S. Bach. Bonnie Koloc had a solo, a traditional Appalachian folk song.

Donald was born Feb. 21, 1944, in Centerville, the son of Norman and Chloe Paul.

He was a photographer and an artist. He had four children, Bethany Paul, Jason Paul, Murphy Ann Paul and Alex Lynn Paul.

Other survivors include his mother, Chloe Paul, and his brother, Dennis Paul, both of Des Moines.

Donald Paul was preceded in death by his father.
