Celia Luella Mulder

Celia Mulder, 91, of Onalaska, Wisc., and Largo, Fla., died on Friday, Nov. 24, 2000 in the Largo Medical Center.

Services were held Thursday Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. in the North Presbyterian Church of LaCrosse with Rev. Scott Skogen officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Dickinson Family Funeral Home of Onalaska handled the arrangements.

Celia Luella Mulder was born on Jan. 30, 1909, in rural Canoe Ridge to Edward and Mary Larson. She graduated from Decorah High School.

She was the manager of the local Montgomery Ward Catalog Store, and later worked at the LaCrosse Credit Bureau.

On Nov. 18, 1943, she married Byron Mulder, who preceded her in death in 1990.

Celia Mulder is best remembered as the Pro Shop attendant, at the Coulee Golf Bowl in Onalaska.

She is survived by a son, Richard B. and Lucille Mulder of Onalaska; a daughter, Nancy E. and Lyle Hartman of Landenberg, Pa.; two sisters, Norma J. Hobart of Charles City and Coreen Seward of Cedar Rapids, and a brother, Ernest Larson of Decorah.

Celia Mulder was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Celia Luella Mulder was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, Judith Ann Mulder Finberg in 1992; and three sisters, Ella Anderson, Delia Hallman and Pearl Klatt.
