Arlene Lundt

Arlene Lundt, 75, of Decorah, died Friday, May 25, 2001 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis.

There was no visitation, as the body was cremated.

Memorial services were Wednesday, May 30 at 3 p.m. at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah, with Rev. Steven Jacobsen officiating.

Organist was Rev. Marion Miller, and congregational hymns included "Amazing Grace" and "Rock of Ages."

Arlene Amelia Marie Reincke was born Oct 7, 1925 to Fred John and Louise (Apple) Reincke in Bloomfield Township, Winneshiek County.

She attended Postville Public Schools, and married Marlin Lundt Sept. 24, 1951 in Postville.

She was a member of the Lutheran church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Marlin Lundt; two children, Kevin and Misty Lundt of Decorah and Marlene D'Antuono of West Des Moines; two brothers, Delbert and Joyce Reincke of Waterloo and Frederick Reincke Jr. and Mabel Reincke of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren and one sister, La Verna Schopp of Castalia.

Arlene Amelia Marie Lundt was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arno and one sister, Mardella Reckward.
