Agnes Bulgren

Agnes Bulgren, 91, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m., at St. John's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, with the Rev. Allen Schmitt officiating.

Music will be provided by the St. John's parish choir. Casket bearers will be Art Huber, Don Huber, Jim Herold, Ray Nienhaus, Joe Hackman and Floyd Hackman.

Interment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Fort Atkinson. The Chekal Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Agnes (Pavlovec) Bulgren was born Feb. 15, 1908, in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Marovec) Pavlovec. She attended school at Fort Atkinson.

On April 4, 1929, she married Russell Bulgren at St. John's Cathlic Church in Fort Atkinson. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and the Catholic Order of Foresters in Fort Atkinson.

Survivors include her two sons, David Bulgren of Fort Atkinson, and Robert and Marion Bulgren of Springfield, Vermont; one grandchild, Debbie and Tim Vondersitt of Calmar; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Allison Vondersitt.

Agnes Bulgren was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dale Bulgren; her sisters, Anna Houdek and Stella Ondrashek; and her brothers, Edward Pavlovec, Frank Pavlovec, Jim Pavlovec, Joe Pavlovec and John Pavlovec.
