Shirley Pearson Whitlow, died January 20, 2000

Shirley Pearson Whitlow, 80, of Bay St. Louis, Miss., and formerly of Decorah, died of a massive stroke Jan. 20, 2000.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 24, at St. Clare Catholic Church, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

She was the daughter of Lester and Madelyn (Rastatter) Pearson and graduated from Decorah High School.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia McGinnis of Tallahassee, Ala.; brothers John H. Pearson of Augusta, Ga., and Joseph D. Pearson of New Orleans, La.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Shirley Pearson Whitlow was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Whitlow, and her parents, Madelyn and Les Pearson.
