Dennison 'Dennis' Perkins

Dennison (Dennis) Perkins, 88, of Ridgeway, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah after a long illness.

The body was cremated and ashes will be buried in the Taylorville Cemetery, rural Arlington. The French & Balik Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dennison Duane Perkins was born Feb. 21, 1912, in Ridgeway, the son of Marion and Dora (Armstrong) Perkins.

He attended grade and high school in Arlington. He then attended Upper Iowa College in Fayette.

Dennis farmed near Arlington and then worked at a Malt Factory in Shakopee, Minn. He moved back to Ridgeway and lived there until he moved to the Aasa Hague Home.

Survivors include his brother Donald Perkins of Jordan, Minn.
