Alvin Dybvik

Alvin Dybvik, 88, of Harmony, Minn., died at the Harmony Community Nursing Home Oct. 31, 2000.

Memorial services were held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony, Minn., Friday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. Interment was at the Fremont Lutheran Cemetery following cremation.

Alvin was born Nov. 18, 1911, in Winneshiek County, the son of Julius Peter and Alta (Noble) Dybvik.

He was united in marriage to Laura Anderson Feb. 11, 1936, in Cresco.

They farmed in Winneshiek County until retiring to Harmony, Minn., in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Laura; a son, Allan of Decorah; two daughters, Laurene Huff of Kasson, Minn. and Marlene Dolce of Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Fern Larsen of Decorah.

Alvin Dybvik was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Alvin Dybvik Jr.;
two sisters, Ruth and Gladys; and four grandsons.
