Marian Onalese (Hennessy) Sisk

Marian (Hennessy) Sisk, 79, of Thornton, Colo., died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colo., following a short illness.

A funeral mass was held Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar, with the Rev. Donald Hawes officiating.

Burial was at the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery with full military rites by the Halverson-Giesen American Legion Post No. 266. The French Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Alan Sensor was the organist and the church choir provided the music. Casket bearers were members of the Halverson-Giesen American Legion Post No. 266.

Marian Onalese (Hennessy) Sisk was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Cresco, the daughter of Dr. Felix A. and Margaret J. (Edwards) Hennessy. She attended Loyola College in Chicago.

Marian was a nurse in the United States Navy during World War II from 1942-44.

She married Steve Sisk Oct. 16, 1944, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Chicago. Steve died Aug. 30,1967.

Marian was a member of the American Legion Post No. 22 in Northglenn, Colo.

There are no immediate survivors. Marian Sisk was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
