Ferne E. Wuest

Ferne Wuest, 88, died at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home in Decorah, Wednesday, April 11, 2001.

Memorial services were held Monday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the North Presbyterian Church of LaCrosse with Rev. Scott Skogen officiating.

Burial of cremains was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Dickinson Funeral Homes of La Crosse handled arrangements.

Ferne E. Wuest was born Oct. 27, 1912 in La Crosse to Ted and Etta (Bessie) Lunde.

She married Donald Wuest. He died Dec. 2, 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Richard and Glendalu Wuest of Decorah and William "Bill" Wuest of Stevens Point, Wisc.,six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Lucille and Myron Haugen of La Crosse and a brother, Bob and Laura Lunde of LaCrosse.

Ferne E. Wuest was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorials may be given to North Presbyterian Church, 1327 North Salem Road, La Crosse, or to the Aase Haugen Nursing Home in Decorah.
