Lucille Knorr

Lucille Knorr, 99, of Ocala, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Harborside Healthcare there.

Burial was at Phelp's Cemetery. The Fjelstul Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Lucille (Haberly) Knorr was born Aug. 20, 1900, at Cresco, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Sellman) Haberly.

She lived most of her life in Decorah, moving to Ocala in 1985. She was a housewife. Lucille was Methodist in faith.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Keith Knorr of Ocala, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Janet Knorr of Ocala, Fla.; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Louise Lucile Knorr

Louise Lucile (Haberly) Knorr, 99, died quietly in her sleep Jan. 28, 2000, at Harborside Nursing Home in Ocala, Fla.

Graveside services will be held at Phelps Cemetery Monday, April 3, at 2 p.m.

Lucile was born in Cresco, but lived in Decorah most of her adult life.

Lucile was a graduate of Iowa State College in the school of home economics.

She taught for several years, then after marriage continued her career as a substitute teacher.

She was married to Charles Knorr Aug. 24, 1926.

Lucile was a member of the Congregational Church in Decorah and the Oneota Golf and Country Club.

Survivors include her son, Keith; four granddaughters; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Louise Lucile Knorr was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who died in 1982; her parents; three sisters; and one brother.
