Kenneth Mestad

Kenneth Mestad, 78, of Bloomington, Minn., died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minn.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m., at Werness Brothers, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minn., with visitation one hour prior.

Private interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cancer Society or the donor's
choice.

Kenny was a former business education teacher at Sibley High School in West St. Paul, Minn., for 29 years.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mae; sons Jon (Diana) of Bloomington, Minn., Kris (Sue) of Rosemount, Minn., and Todd Mestad, Marine on St. Croix; grandchildren Allen, Nick, Layna, Sarah and Andy; brother Dr. Orv (Shirley) Mestad of Glendora, Calif.; and nieces, nephews and friends.
