Washington Prairie Resident Dies

Mr. Jens Ehrie, a resident of Washington Prairie for a good many years, passed away on Friday from a complication of diseases from which he has been suffering for some time. He was about 57 years of age and leaves a wife and several children. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, at three o'clock. Mr. Ehrie was widely known throughout the eastern part of the county, was an upright, industrious citizen, a good neighbor and friend, who was highly thought of by all.

Jens Ehrie passes away last Friday at noon time. He was in poor health for a long while, and during the last six weeks, he has been in bed all the time suffering very much. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon in the Glenwood Church, Rev. S.A. Scarvie officiating. Mr. Ehrie was married twice and leaves to mourn his loss three children by his first wife, who died 21 years ago, and his second wife and six children. He was about 54 years old.
