Funeral services held for Irma Roulson

Funeral services for Irma Roulson, 83, were held Wednesday, March 22, at 1:30 p.m. in Bethel Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carl Stoldt officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery, Castalia, Iowa. Burnham-Wood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Irma Roulson died Sunday, March 19, 1995 in the Good Samaritan Home.

Irma Evangeline (Allen) Roulson was born Sept. 17, 1911 to Ray and May Clark Allen in Waterloo. She attended Castalia School through the 10th grade, then graduated from high school at Postville.

On Sept. 26, 1936, she was united in marriage to Clifford Roulson in Castalia. Three children were born to this union.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren in Castalia and Bethel Presbyterian Church, West Union. Irma belonged to the South Side Birthday Club and the Willing Workers.

Her husband, mother, father, and two brothers, Richard and Robert, preceded her in death.

Irma is survived by three sons, Calvin of Sidney; LeRoy of Springfield, Ill., and Allen of Donnan; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Viola Trautman, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
