Mrs. H. Reinhardt Interred Friday

Funeral services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, Castalia at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, for Mrs. Harvey Reinhardt who died Tuesday, October 28 in the Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The Rev. Perry L. Brown officiated. Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Castalia.

Frances Louise, was born February 21, 1916 at Ossian, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Althouse) Schweinefus, She was baptized into the Lutheran Faith at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Eldorado and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Castalia, where the family moved when she was about one year old. She was a lifelong resident of Castalia.

She had served in the church as the first president of the Luther League, was a Sunday Church School teacher for several years and taught school for five years. She was a graduate of Postville high school.

October 12, 1940, she was married to Harvey Reinhardt, Mr. Reinhardt survives as does her daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Janice) Folstad. Other survivors include six sisters: Mrs. Fred (Lena) Everman; Mrs. Elmer (Viola) Kohls; Mrs. Ed (Tillie) Meyer; Mrs. Art (Elizabeth) Schroeder; Mrs. Don (Esther) Stossel; Mrs. Millard (Elsie) Sampson and a brother, Otto Schweinefus.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, and one sister.
