Kris Buddenberg-Rosser

Kris Buddenberg-Roser was born January 13, 1957 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the second daughter of Rodney and Irene Buddenberg. On Tuesday, November 21, 1995 Kris died in a car accident near Denver, Colorado. She was 38 years old.

Kris was baptized at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids and later was confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Des Moines, Iowa. The family moved to Des Moines in 1964 where Kris grew up, graduating from Hoover High School in 1975. She also attended an area college there for two years.

For the past fifteen years, Kris lived in the Denver, Colorado area and was most recently employed as a sales representative for Cartwright Distributors. As a sales rep, she traveled widely through the Mountain States area and made many, many friends. Kris loved living near the mountains and actively enjoyed all mountain sports, including skiing and ballooning. She was a loyal fan of the Denver professional athletic teams.

Kris is survived by her parents, Rodney and Irene Buddenberg, of Des Moines, her sister, Kim and her husband, Tim Humpal and their children, Adam and Angela Humpal of LeMars, Iowa; her sister Kay and her husband, Randy McCurdy and their children, Missy and Matt McCurdy of Grimes, Iowa as well as many relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Kris Buddenberg-Rosser were held Friday, November 24, 1995 at Littleton, Colo., and also Wednesday, November 29, 1995 at Des Moines with burial at Des Moines.
