Robert Melvin Green

Robert Melvin Green, son of Clarence John and Helen (Koth) Green, was born February 15, 1944 at Postville and departed this life after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 16, 1949, at the Postville Hospital, aged 5 years. Final rites were held Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. F. R. Ludwig officiating.

Robert spent his short earthly life in the home of his parents. He was made a Christian through the sacrament of Holy Baptism on May 28, 1944. This fall he enrolled in the public school.

Left to mourn his passing are his parents; one brother, Dale Allen Green; two sisters: Beverly Ann Green and Mary Ellen Green; his paternal and maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Green of Castalia and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Koth of Monona; his great grandmother; Mrs. Mary Lenth of Monona.
