Mrs. Minnie Bielski, 93, died Monday at Green Lea Manor nursing home at Mabel.

The former Minnie White, she was born February 3, 1878, on a farm near Ridgeway, Iowa, the daughter of B. Monroe and Rebecca Fawcett White. She moved with her parents to the Hesper community when a child and attended rural school in District Number 3, later attending the Hesper school.

She was a member of the Hesper Friends Church and its Missionary Society. For many years she served as secretary and treasurer of the Hesper Cemetery Association.

On March 30, 1897, she married Oscar Street. He died in 1924 and on July 21, 1926, she married Waldemar O. Bielski, who died in 1956.

Survivors are three sons, Guilford, Hesper; Granville, Mabel; Merrill, Golden, Colorado; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Grace) Byers, Rochester, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren.

Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, one grandson and a brother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hesper Friends Church. Mrs. Naomi Lock will officiate. Burial will be in the Hesper Public Cemetery. The Mengis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
