Myron L. Wolfe Interred Monday

Funeral services for Myron Lloyd Wolfe were held in Schutte's Chapel Monday, March 22, 1971 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Dick Harberts officiating. Mr. Wolfe died Friday, March 19 at Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

Myron Lloyd Wolfe, son of George B. and Almira Smith Wolfe, was born December 21, 1893 in Winneshiek County, Decorah. He lived in and around Frankville and received his education in the rural schools. He took a bookkeeping and business course at Valders College in Decorah and served in the Army Engineers for two years during World War I.

He was married to Caroline Mae Jagerson September 30, 1922 in Decorah. To this union three sons were born: George L., Myron Roy and Jerry Dean.

Mr. Wolfe was a member of the Frankville Community Church and had been a member of the Brotherly Love Lodge No. 204 in Postville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son George at birth and a son Myron in infancy. He is survived by his wife Mae; one son, Jerry Dean at home; an aunt, Mrs. Mabel Cyr of Ironwood, Michigan and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Frankville Cemetery with American Legion Arthur F. Brandt Post No. 518 in charge of military rites.
