Mrs. Clifford Hughes Passes On Tuesday

Mrs. Clifford Hughes, 35, lifelong resident of the Frankville community, passed away Tuesday morning at the Oakdale sanitarium where she had been a patient for the past year or more.

Born as Jerrine Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, at Centennial October 21, 1910 she is survived by her husband, two sons, Dick and David Lee; her parents; five sisters, Bernice, Mrs. Henry Schweinefus, of Frankville; Blanche, Mrs. George Haugen of LaCrosse; June, Mrs. Reuben Monroe of near Ossian; Mabel, Mrs. Elmer Vine, and Geneva, Mrs. Orville Ruen, both of Decorah; and two brothers, Lenard Allen of Postville and Leslie Allen of Frankville.

Her husband, father and sister, Mrs. Henry Schweinefus, were at her bedside during her last illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock in the Frankville Community church.
