Rudolph Holthaus

Funeral services for Rudolph G. "Rudy" Holthaus of Calmar were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Festina with Monsignor Cletus Hawes officiating.

Interment was in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery in Festina. Schluter Balik Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Rudolph, 79 died Saturday, December 28, 2002 at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife Germaine of Calmar; two daughters: Marleen Numedahl and Jan Vick, both of Decorah; one son: Leland of Calmar; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters: Agnes Riha and Lillian Holthaus, both of Decorah, and Caroline Schildmeyer of Ossian; and three brothers: August and Ralph, both of Ossian, and Francis of Calmar.
