Another Golden Wedding.
Waukon Republican:—On the 9th of June, 1851, at Sogn, Bergan Stift, Norway, occurred the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Tweet, of Pleasant township, Winnesheik county. On the corresponding date this year the couple celebrated their golden wedding or 50th anniversary by inviting their children and a large number of their neighbors and friends and a most enjoyable social time was had. Their guests tendered the aged couple a number of valuable souvenirs as reminders of the event. They are the parents of Anton Tweet of Waukon. All their friends and acquaintances congratulate them and tender hearty wishes for many more years of health and happiness.
