MARRIED.
Tuesday morning, July 12, 1904, at the home of John Milward in this city, his daughter Miss Margaret and Timothy J. Ahern the oldest son of J. T. Ahern, of Conover, Iowa, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. John Norris performing the ceremony.
Little Gertrude Milward, a cousin of the bride was flower girl, there being no other attendants. Mrs. Harding and Misses Mary and Maggie Ahern played the wedding march.
After the cerremony{sic} light refreshments were served.
Many fine wedding presents were received.
The young couple boarded the noon train for Cresco, their future home, where the groom located several months ago in the practice of law. Quite a number of their friends surprised them by entering the train and accompanying them as far as Conover.
