Marriage in Missouri
The marriage of Miss Adelaide Hovden of Ridgeway and Don Aspensen of Decorah took place at the Lutheran parsonage at Kahoka, Mo., at 8 o’clock, Sunday morning August 3. The Rev. G. O. Martensen performed the single ring ceremony. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Isenberger of Decorah. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Helmer E. Hovden of Ridgeway and is a graduate of the Ridgeway high school. For the past year she has been employed at the Baker & Johnson store. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Aspensen of Decorah and is a graduate of the Decorah high school. The couple returned Wednesday evening from Clear Lake where they spent a few days with friends. They will make their home in Decorah where the groom is employed. The many friends of this young couple extend their best wishes for a happy and prosperous married life.
