A beautiful wedding cememony was solomnized at Holy Trinity church Wednesday morning Apr. 16, at 9 o'clock when Helen Bouska, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bouska became the bride of Robert Balik of Spillville, son of Anton Balik, at nuptial high mass. Rev. H. Hradecky, pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring ceremony in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The attendants were Delores Balik, sister of the bridegroom and Leonard Bouska, brother of the bride.

The bride wore an ankle length plain princess style gown of heavy white crepe de lindine hem line ending in a graceful train. Her short veil was held in place with a wreath of white snapdragons. Her only jewelry was a pearl necklace, a gift of the groom. She carried a bouquet of white snapdragons. Her attendent wore a gown of pale blue taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink and white snapdragons.

The bridegroom and best man wore brown suits and white gardenia buttonaires. Following the ceremony a reception for 40 guests was held at the bride's home.

Both are graduates of Rudolphinum high school in the class of 1936. The new home will be in Spillville where the bridegroom is associated with his father in the undertaking business.
