Miss Adeline Frana, daughter of Mrs. Anna Frana of Spillville and Mr.Clarence Berst, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Berst of Little Turkey were united in marriage at 8:30 o’clock Wednesday morning at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church. Rev. J. P. Chihak performed the double ring ceremony and offered the nuptial high mass which followed.

Nuptial music was played during the mass by Mrs. F. C. Swella organist. Edw. Shileny violinist, played the wedding march and recessional and also during the offertory, with organ accompaniment by Mrs. Swella. The bride wore a full length gown of white bridal satin trimmed with lace, and the neckline was finished with pearl clasps. Her long train veil was held in place with a crown of seed pearls. She wore a gold cross and chain which was a gift of the bridegroom and carried a bouquet composed of white chrysanthemums. Miss Gena Humpal, a cousin of the bride was maid of honor. Her floor length brocaded taffetta gown was of a peach shade with which she wore a headdress made up of ribbon and a flower matching her gown. She wore gold slippers and carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Lorna Ott a cousin of the bridegroom served as bridesmaid and was attired in a floor length royal blue taffetta gown with a head dress corresponding in color to her dress. She also wore gold slippers and carried red roses. Melvin Berst, brother of the bridegroom and Walter Frana, a cousin of the bride acted as best men. The bridegroom and his attendants wore dark suits. Following the ceremony a reception for ninety guests was held at the A. B. C. S. hall and in the evening a wedding dance was given at the Inwood for their relatives and many friends. This also marked the date chosen by the bride’s parents for their wedding which took place at the same church 46 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Berst will make their home in Protovin where the bridegroom is employed.
