In December 1996, the couple moved off their farm to make their home in a condo in Forest City. Margie continued living there after Cecil died until August 2007 when she moved to Apple Valley Assisted Living in Clear Lake and then in September of 2009 to Good Shepherd in Mason City where she resided until her death.
