Mason City – Mrs. Morris (Palma H.) Olson, 77, of 304 3rd NE, died on Friday, December 28, 1984, at a Mason City hospital.

Mrs. Olson was born on October 5, 1907, to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson in Leland. She married Morris Olson on Jun 20, 1926, in Albert Lee, Minnesota. For many years, they lived on a farm near Forest City until Mrs. Olson moved to Mason City in 1978. She was a member of Grace Baptist church here.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jane) Gildner, and one son, Ronald K., both of Mason City, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, with the Rev. William Burt of Grace Baptist Church here officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Forest City. Visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Palma Olson Memorial Fund.
