Alma Lovene
June 11, 1868 - August 27, 1930

Mrs. Alma Lovene died at her home at Arthur, Iowa, on August 27, 1930. Born in Godsgaard, Ostergatland, Sweden, on June 11, 1868, she came with her parents to Mead, Nebraska, in 1885. She married Peter Lovene on December 29, 1897, and is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mabel, of Chicago, Mrs. Roy (Minnie) Olson, of Forest City, and Evelyn, also of Chicago; six sisters: Mrs. Oscar Johnson, Mrs. Edoff and Mrs. Clara Witzell, of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Isaac Nelson, of Wahoo, Nebraska, Mrs. Frida Langerquist, of Ryley, Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. C. A. Segerstrom, Brooklyn, New York. Rev. and Mrs. Lovene served at the First Baptist Church in Forest City from 1920 to 1924. Interment was made in the Baptist cemetery.
